About
We have over 2,000 members, mostly in Bangalore and San Francisco. Members include CTOs, senior ML engineers, and open-source hackers from Guardrails, Ragas, Llama Index, Qdrant, FastEmbed, KissanAI, Sarvam, Portkey, and other projects and startups.
Over 200 members take part each month. We discuss compute costs, vLLM, latency, and evaluations.
We have held monthly events since February, including talks, demo days, and hackathons. One hackathon ran for 24 hours. Speakers have included Amod Malviya (Flipkart/Udaan) and Prof. Pratyush (AI4Bharat/Sarvam).
Ragas became a business and joined YCombinator. Previous speaker Ravi Theja joined Llama Index, and collaborator Shivendu Kumar joined Qdrant. FastEmbed started in response to needs raised by members.
